Woodlane Community Church, formerly the Arcadia Reformed Church, is a member church of the Reformed Church of America (RCA) and an active part of the local Newark community.  During the week, many activities take place at our church.  We have a very active 55+ group which sponsors monthly activities for our retired members.  The Choir practices each Thursday evening during the Sunday School season to prepare for its ministry of music during the Sunday morning service and the annual Christmas Cantata.  The Women's Fellowship is active with many circles, while the Men's Fellowship meets on a regular basis.  

 

As our mission statement (above) indicates, we believe that we will be able to impact our community for eternity, one heart at a time.  If you are looking for a church home that will give you a place for your faith to grow, or if you are just visiting the area, we invite you to please come and visit us for a time of worship and fellowship.  If you find yourself in need of support in a time of grief, stress, or loss, we encourage you to give our church a call.  We have many individuals willing and able to provide counseling or to find the help you may need.   Feel free to give our church a call at any time.  Newark is a village of 10,000 people located about 25 miles east of Rochester, NY.  It boasts a fine health care facility, high quality education system, and a mix of rural, agricultural as well as suburban, light industrial job opportunities.
